Idyllically located on the southern outskirts of Chemnitz, the Klaffenbach moated castle enchants its visitors from the first moment. Parallel to the Würschnitz river, the entire complex of castle buildings, restaurants and handicrafts studios unfolds in the middle of a landscape park of green meadows, an attractive golf course and popular walking paths.
The Schlosshotel Klaffenbach is also located directly in the entire complex.

Week 2 – 08/19 until August 21, 2020 at Augustusburg Castle
19.-21.08. MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate)
The beauty of Augustusburg Castle can be seen from afar. The former hunting lodge of the Saxon Elector August sits enthroned at an altitude of 516 m, surrounded by forests.
The castle restaurant and the Augustus cellar are also located in these historic walls. In the place where the electoral family once dined and received guests, the MikroTik MTCNA certification will take place this summer. Even after more than 400 years, this monumental building has lost none of its charisma. Because of its imposing location, Augustusburg Castle is also known as the “Crown of the Ore Mountains”. Due to its monumentality and the associated museums, it is now considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles in Central Europe.

A strict hygiene concept is also adhered to at the VARIA Summer Academy! As our guests, you shouldn’t have to worry about cleanliness and health. Among other things, we have reduced the number of participants. The training area is also separated and disinfected according to strict rules. The food is served under protective precautions and attention is paid to keeping a safe distance!

The Ubiquiti Training Academy offers interested parties the opportunity to gain experience and to find out about Ubiquiti products and technologies. The Ubiquiti Academy program consists of courses held worldwide by official Ubiquiti-certified trainers. Participation in these courses therefore also offers the opportunity to receive professional certification in various Ubiquiti product technologies.
The UBWA course is a two-day training course that teaches the most important concepts for outdoor wireless networks. The focus is on designing, creating, managing, and resolving problems with WISP networks. Course materials and practical exercises are taught with airOS-8 using airMAX AC devices.

12.08. US (UniFi Network Specialist Certification)

The Ubiquiti Academy program consists of courses held worldwide by official Ubiquiti-certified trainers. Participation in these courses therefore also offers the opportunity to receive professional certification in various Ubiquiti product technologies.
UniFi Network Specialist is a one-day introductory course in the UniFi Applications with a focus on server administration as well as device, location and network management. Practical exercises deepen the knowledge of best practices for techniques for the introduction of remote devices as well as use cases for the integrated guest portal and the hotspot manager.
13.+14.08. UEWA (Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Admin Certification)

The UEWA course is a two day training course that focuses on key concepts in enterprise wireless networking. The focus is on best practices for designing and managing UniFi WLANs. Learn to use the latest generation of UniFi APs and the UniFi application platform in practical exercises.

19.-21.08. MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate)

The Mikrotik Training Academy offers the opportunity to gain experience and to find out about MikroTik products and technologies. The MikroTik training program consists of courses held worldwide by official MikroTik-certified trainers. Participation in these courses therefore also offers the opportunity to receive professional certification in various MikroTik product technologies.
The MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) course involves imparting knowledge of the RouterOS software and RouterBoard products. Part of the course are practical exercises with a training kit in order to apply the knowledge acquired directly. The exam to be passed is a central online test specified by MikroTik. After passing the exam, you will receive a certificate. After completing the course, dealing with RouterOS and RouterBoard technology will no longer be a problem. You will be able to connect clients to the Internet, configure and manage the devices, and identify and correct problems.
