Historic ambience
The beauty of Augustusburg Castle can be seen from afar. The former hunting lodge of the Saxon Elector August sits enthroned at an altitude of 516 m, surrounded by forests.

The castle restaurant and the Augustus cellar are also located in these historic walls. The Ubiquiti UEWA certification will take place this summer where the electoral family once dined and received guests.

On the trail of history
Even after more than 400 years, this monumental building has lost none of its charisma. Because of its imposing location, Augustusburg Castle is also known as the “Crown of the Ore Mountains”. Due to its monumentality and the associated museums, it is now considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles in Central Europe.

For those interested, the course includes a free visit to the castle museum.
