The RUT series will be expanded in the coming days with the RUTX10 and RUTX11 devices. All the more reason for some new tools and features TELTONIKA RUT series to introduce.

These include:

Dynamic multipoint DMVPN functionality in RUT devices

DMVPN: Teltonika introduces another tool with which a secure VPN connection can be easily scaled and Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) can be implemented in all RUT devices. *

Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) is a solution for setting up scalable IPsec Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). DMVPN uses a centralized architecture to simplify implementation and management. Branch offices can communicate directly with each other over the public WAN or the Internet.

New Modbus TCP / IP master (client) functionality

The devices of the RUT9 series from Teltonika will now have Modbus TCP / IP master (client) functionality (RUT2 and RUTX series available soon). Modbus enables communication between many devices connected to the same network. For example: a system that measures temperature and humidity and sends the results to a computer. It is widely used to connect a supervisory computer to a remote terminal unit (RTU) in supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA).

ZeroTier VPN functionality

You can now use ZeroTier VPN on your Teltonika RUT.
ZeroTier is a great and easy to use VPN service:

    • Like all VPN services, it is designed to create an encrypted data connection between different devices and locations.
