How do crypto and microtronics come together? A success story from the Latvian company SPX.
Bitcoin mining networks don’t require high-speed networking equipment, but they do need something that is reliable – both for the internal LAN between devices, and for the WAN for external remote operation.
“Since Bitcoin mining often takes place in remote locations without access to fiber connections, many of these networks use LHG and LHG LTE kits,” our friends at SPX told us. Since 2018, they have been installing LHGs and CRS switches in data centers in shipping containers. They have also recently added the versatile RB5009 router to their setup.
