If you are looking for an unusual decoration for your home and also enjoy crafting, Liebesreh Papercraft is the place for you. The geometric works of art made of paper not only look great, but can also be assembled at home.
We have tested how this works for you with the “hunting trophy”.

Packaging, contents and instructions

The craft kit comes in a plain envelope, which at first glance doesn’t suggest anything great. The magic is created here. 😉
Inside there are several sheets of cardboard with the individual parts printed on them and detailed instructions with detailed illustrations. And that’s a good thing, otherwise the assembly would be quite complicated.

Preparation

You will need craft glue (or superglue) and something to cut out the individual parts. You can do this with scissors or a knife. We opted for the scissors.
After cutting out the pieces, it can be helpful to pre-sort them. They are all extensively numbered and the sides even show which parts are glued together with which at the end. It is also noted in which direction the individual pieces must be folded – mountain or valley fold. You should also stick to this and fold the parts correctly.
If you don’t feel confident yet, you can try out the test object provided, a small paper diamond, before starting the actual project. We have done that too.

The work process

Now the real fun can begin. You start with part 1, which forms the bridge of the nose and a considerable part of the stag’s head. Then glue 2 and 3 to the right and left of these. Part 4 goes on the underside of the snout. This lays the foundation.
Proceed as described in the instructions for the other parts. The stag’s head is built up piece by piece. We recommend that you really follow the manufacturer’s instructions so that nothing goes wrong. Once glued, nothing can be changed so easily.
The antler parts are then a little tricky – it is an advantage to work with a second person who can hold the antlers while you attach them to the deer’s head.
Last but not least, a final part is inserted at the back of the head to provide stability and also serve as a suspension for the wall. We were skeptical at first because our stag was still a bit wobbly, but this last piece actually made a big difference.
Once the glue has dried, you can hang up the finished head. Or you can do as we do and let off some steam artistically. Our stag was finally decorated with black spray paint and marble-effect paint.

Conclusion

This set is definitely a treat for craft enthusiasts, because the extensive assembly and the many parts will keep you busy for quite a while. Understandably, this project should not be given to small children, but we can definitely imagine it as a gift idea for older children and teenagers. And the end result is something to be proud of: an unusual decoration idea that will spice up your home ambience in a modern way!
