You can take a look into the past of mankind with the new Pegasus game “Mesos” – found your own tribe, live through important events and gain fame and honor!
Find out how it all works and whether the game is for you here. Game content and structure In the Mesos box you will find two decks of cards, consisting of tribe, building and event cards.
In addition, there are tiles that you use to form your selection track, as well as food and fame tiles and colored totems, which are your playing pieces.
Pay close attention to which tiles and cards are necessary for your number of players and which you do not need.
A game lasts ten rounds.
In each round, you select tribe members from the display and add them to your tribe.
The aim is to live through three ages and gain as many glory points as possible at the end by tactically building up your tribe. Gameplay At the start of each round, you place your totem in the selection bar.
Where you place it determines whether you can choose from the top or bottom display of tribe cards.
Then carry out the corresponding action and choose a tribe member or a building.
In some cases, a player may also choose two cards.
You then begin to deal with the randomly drawn events.
If you have made your selection from the tribe cards wisely, you can earn your first glory points here.
The display is then refreshed and the process starts all over again.
If you reveal a card from a new age, you move from the first to the second, or from the second to the third age.
There are special rules for renewing the display.
The game ends after the tenth round when the pile of cards is empty.
You then add up how much fame your tribe has earned.
And of course, the player with the most points wins the game! Conclusion Mesos is an entertaining game with tactical elements for two to five people that has easy-to-understand rules and can therefore be learned quickly.
We particularly recommend it as a family game for families with children aged 10 and over!
